Seminar Title: Winter STEM Educator Workshop | Education in the Age of AI: Making the most of AI in the Classroom
Seminar Description:
In this session we will discuss what’s going on under the hood of generative AI, including large-language models like ChatGPT. Valerie Lockhart will share tips and tricks for using AI in your classroom, and introduce you to student-facing curricula that takes AI out of the realm of the unknown and into its role as an incredibly helpful tool.
Valerie Lockhart currently serves as Executive Director of Code Savvy and is the Founder of the Minnesota Women in Tech. She is passionate about individualism and universal design, and likes to spend her time helping people and communities learn how to leverage technology and media to become more self-sufficient and successful.
